east village project
In my Math 3 class we have been working on a project. It is called the East Village analysis. In the project we worked with the East Village community. We surveyed the community because we wanted to see what they think about the East Village and some other opinions they have .Some of the questions that we were asking the people were something like “Do you think that there is family/friendly places to visit in the East Village?”, we also asked them if they felt a softness living in the East Village and other questions like that.We Distributed this survey by sending it out on google forms and also putting in in the newspaper.Only 364 took the survey. We analyze the survey results by looked at the statistic and saw id they strongly agree or if they strongly disagree. The results show that the people are ok with living in the East Village. I learn that most people like living in the East Village because it is affordable but they don't feel safe. Next time we can improve my/ our work by asking the people of their opinions on making the East Village better .
When I took the MAP test in the Fall my score was a 192. In the Winter it went up a lot, my score was 221, My score was so close to the National Average score.(Which is good.). My goal for when we take the test again in May, is to get to the National Average score. Some of the thing that can help me, are looking back on my notes, watching videos from IXL's that we have done, practicing more questions in IXL's.
